Connaissez-vous le détective Conan ? C’est un adulte dans un corps d’enfant, suite à un empoisonnement. Dans le quartier de Shibuya à Tokyo, il assiste au mariage de la détective Sato. Soudain, surgit un tueur qui veut s’en prendre à la mariée. Ainsi commence la nouvelle enquête du jeune Conan. Il semblerait que derrière cette tentative de meurtre, un danger plus grand menace la ville.

« Détective Conan : la fiancée de Shibuya » est un film d’animation assez rythmé avec une flopée de personnages. C’est là que le bât blesse car on s’y perd rapidement. Le rôle des protagonistes et leur vécu sont expliqués à tambour battant. Autant un livre manga, vous pouvez revenir en arrière, si vous n’avez pas cerné tous les personnages. Autres soucis dans sa version originale : les sous-titres en blanc qui se confondent et rendent illisible la traduction. L’ampleur du récit aurait mérité deux films d’animation à mon sens. Néanmoins, on se raccroche à l’histoire en deuxième partie pour mieux saisir la subtilité du détective Conan.

Do you know Detective Conan? He is an adult in a child's body, following poisoning. In the Shibuya district of Tokyo, he attends the wedding of detective Sato. Suddenly, a killer appears who wants to attack the bride. Thus begins the new investigation of young Conan. It would seem that behind this attempted murder, a greater danger threatens the city.

"Detective Conan: Bride of Shibuya" is a fairly fast-paced animated film with a slew of characters. This is where the shoe pinches because you get lost quickly. The role of the protagonists and their experiences are explained at a beating drum. As much as a manga book, you can go back, if you haven't figured out all the characters. Other concerns in its original version: the blank subtitles which merge and make the translation illegible. The breadth of the story would have deserved two animated films in my opinion. Nevertheless, we cling to the story in the second part to better understand the subtlety of Detective Conan.
