Ça like grave !

Chronicle of the movie « Sing me a Song » in English

You dream of a digital detox, far from the turmoil of the digital sphere. Meditating in a monastery seems obvious, but far from home. Bhutan with over 750,000 Vajrayana Buddhist souls seems like the perfect place to recharge your batteries. Since this is the last country to be cut off from internet madness. Well, that was before! Now with the 4G pylon installed, he advocates the divinity of the smartphone. You will follow from a distance the sentimental adventures of young Peyangki who studies in a traditional monastery. Barely 18 years old, you think he's going to be connected with the spirituality of the elders. Missed ! The god Wechat directed her to Ugyen, a Bhutan miss showing her vocal charms through love songs. It's like serious! Such a romance and he will no longer touch his feet on the ground, captured by so much technological grace. Will Peyangki get lost along the way?

"Sing me a Song" documentary film, in the framework of a fiction but very real, leads us into a striking contrast: the hold of the smartphone among young people, while all around them a rebellious nature on a human scale reserves so much beauty, cannot resist it against the light of the invading pixels night and day. Thomas Balmès takes us into an accelerated technological crash. Overwhelming!
